Thank you Bill!
Re: message #12216. Really appreciate your help in identifying or confirming the species me and my fellow divers found throughout the years. Ever since I cited your website to my fellow divers, our group became more and more deeply involved in their dives, searching and learning for more on seaslugs.
Somehow, we've created a new subject of interest/hobby out of the information we've obtained from this site of yours. It's like we're inspired to dive in a more meaningful way!
On behalf of my group (the UBA) we would like to thank you and fellow contributors to this site for the vast knowledge that we've gained.
Regards,
Asther M. Lau

Lau, A.M., 2004 (Feb 20) Thanks for the Forum!. [Message in] Sea Slug Forum. Australian Museum, Sydney. Available from http://www.seaslugforum.net/find/12253Dear Asther,
I am glad you and your friends find the Forum valuable. It is just not possible for the few 'experts' in the world to observe everything. Early in my career I realised how much valuable information was being lost because interested amateurs did not realise that observations they were making had never been seen by the experts. I am glad the Forum has become a place where both professional scientists and interested amateurs can share what we know and accumulate new information for everyone's benefit.
Best wishes
Bill Rudman
