Bill,
Again a photo taken by Wolfgang Seifarth this summer in Italy, depth 15m. Is it Berthella ocellata (delle Chiaje, 1830)?

Koehler, E., 1999 (Sep 23) Berthella ocellata from Mediterranean. [Message in] Sea Slug Forum. Australian Museum, Sydney. Available from http://www.seaslugforum.net/find/1358Dear Erwin,
I have never seen this species alive or in photographs, but from published accounts I am pretty sure your identification is correct. After the variability of Berthella stellata, it's nice to see a Berthella with a distinctive colour pattern.
Any chance of a few more locality details and size perhaps?
Best wishes,
Bill Rudman.
