December 19, 1999
From: Valda Fraser

Dear Bill
I saw this nudibranch for the first time this weekend. It has "flaps" from the gill area down to the edge of its mantle. What is it?

Locality: South Coast KwaZulu-Natal, SOUTH AFRICA. Scottburgh - Rocky Reef - 24m. November 1999 Size: 50mm

Dear Valda,

This is almost certainly a species of Chromodoris but it is not a species that I am familiar with. I suspect it is unnamed.
