Fraser, V., 2000 (Jan 28) A species of Phyllidiopsis? from South Africa. [Message in] Sea Slug Forum. Australian Museum, Sydney. Available from http://www.seaslugforum.net/find/1789Dear Valda,
This appears to be a species of the Phyllidiidae but I don't know of one with this colour pattern.
The only two species with which it seems to have any similarities are Phyllidiopsis sphingis, from Hawaii and Phyllidiopsis dautzenbergi from the Red Sea. On that very slim justification I will make a guess and say that it may be a species of Phyllidiopsis.
Best wishes,
Bill Rudman.
