Cuthona? from Bali
August 25, 2008
From: Marli Wakeling
Hi Bill,
Forgive me for reposting this, but I think it may have been lost years ago. Now that this species has become a star in National Geographic magazine (in a photo by Dave Doubilet), perhaps it will get described one of these days. I have now seen several other photos of this beauty, all from the Tulamben area in Bali.
Locality: Tulamben, 20 feet, Bali, Indonesia, Pacific, July 2005, sand and rubble. Length: 8 mm. Photographer: Marli Wakeling.
Cheers,
Marli

Wakeling, M., 2008 (Aug 25) Cuthona? from Bali. [Message in] Sea Slug Forum. Australian Museum, Sydney. Available from http://www.seaslugforum.net/find/21801Thanks Marli,
Sorry if your earlier message joined the 'check it out when I have time pile'. It could well be a Cuthona or at least a tergipedid so I'll post it as Cuthona sp. 10.
I guess the National Geographic article you mention is in the June 2008 issue.
Best wishes,
Bill Rudman
