Concerning message #22812:

Dear Bill
I attach an image of a typical Onchidoris sparsa. When I lived in Orkney, I found several , mainly on the shores of Scapa Flow.

Locality: Scapa Flow, Orkney, intertidal, Scotland, U.K., North Atlantic, 18 March 1976 , Sheltered rocky shore. Length: 7 mm. Photographer: Ian F. Smith.

Tom Thompson and Greg Brown confirmed the identification from transparencies and specimens I sent.
