Ryan, P.A., 2010 (Mar 23) A photo of Acochlidium fijiiensis. [Message in] Sea Slug Forum. Australian Museum, Sydney. Available from http://www.seaslugforum.net/find/23372Dear Paddy,
Thanks very much for this welcome photo. We don't have many photos of acochlideans or other interstitial opisthobranchs on the Forum, and as A. fijiiensis is one of a group of relatively large species which live in freshwater streams on Pacific Islands it is particularly interesting. At present it is only known from two streams in Fiji [Nasekawa River (Vanua Levu) and Lami River (Viti Levu)]. Can I assume your animal was from Lami River?
Best wishes,
Bill Rudman
