End of the Sea Slug Forum

Dear Bill,

I am indeed very sorry to hear of the fate of the forum. I would like to thank you for having this forum available for so many years; I discovered it when I was 10, and has since then provided an excellent window for me into marine research on these awesome critters. About two years ago you helped me with a project dealing with Onchidoris bilamellata, which since then has been finished and allowed me to place as a finalist in the American Natural History Museum's Young Naturalist's Awards.

Thank you for all the work you have put in to the forum! Also, I have a suggestion: why not make a Sea Slug blog and allow people to keep sending you pictures for ID and also provide an informal place for discussion? Although it would not have updated species profiles, one could search for a species they want, or tabs can be made for various classifications (i.e. a Chromodoris folder). Just a suggestion, I want to see more material like you have presented on the forum!
Thanks again,
Drew V.
