June 30, 1999
From: Julie Marshall

This image is of a Janolus species which was found last summer (1998-9) in clumps of bryozoans attached to a grid protecting a saltwater intake pipe at 13 metres on the south side of Heron Island. Four specimens were found ranging from 1.5 to 5 mm. The pictured specimen was 5 mm in size.

Thanks Julie,
I have included a enlargement of some of the cerata at the Top of the Page to show the distinctive colour pattern.
