Hawaiian Islands.

Yellowish-white with characteristic 3 purple-pink lines on mantle. Anterior and posterior regions of mantle are purple with bright opaque white spots. Rhinophores have 2 or 3 reddish bands and the outer edge of the translucent gills is orange-red in the upper two-thirds. This species has similarities in colour to H. maridadilus, H. whitei, and H. emma.
