Hi Bill,
I have been looking through your pages on Nudibranchs and find them quite interesting. I was wondering if you knew what Nudibranch it is that I have attached as a jpeg file.
I've looked in a number of books and not found a match as yet. It was found at Lady Elliot Island, Queensland, Depth, 1 mtr (Lagoon), October 1992.
I hope you don't mind me sending it to you, I have this and more on my website for Scuba Divers at http://www.diveoz.com.au where I intend to upload even more shots of Nudibranchs. I just brought a 1:2 macro lens for getting closer to the smaller ones and I look forward to trying it out soon.
Thanks.

This is found throughout the tropical and warm temperate Indo-West Pacific. Have a look at the top of the page and the other messages below yours for other records. Unfortunately it hasn't a name yet and until it is studied more fully I can't even say what genus it belongs to. At the moment then it is just Doris? sp. 1.
Good Luck with your site and your photography. I'm happy to help with identifications.
Best wishes,
Bill Rudman.
