Fraser, V., 2001 (Jan 5) Dermatobranchus from South Africa. [Message in] Sea Slug Forum. Australian Museum, Sydney. Available from http://www.seaslugforum.net/find/2900Dear Valda,
This is a species of Dermatobranchus but I can't easily identify it with anything published from South Africa. It could of course be something with a much wider Indo-West Pacific distribution.
If this is a common species it might be worth keeping an eye on it, even if it is ugly, because we know little about the feeding habits of these animals. Any clues will be gratfully received.
Best wishes,
Bill Rudman.
