Dear Bill,
Concerning the possible aglajid photo from the Canary Ids, it has been identified by Leopoldo Moro Abad as an undescribed species of Melanochlamys.
Cheers,
Erwin

Dear Erwin,
It certainly could be a Melanochlamys but it would need a look at its anatomy to be sure
Best wishes,
Bill Rudman.

Thanks Erwin,
It looks to me like an aglajid? Does that seem to be the right shape to you? If so I'll see if I can find out what it is
Best wishes,
