1st opisthobranch course in Venezuela

Dear Opistobranch Community,

I am very glad to inform you about the first course on Opisthobranchs which we have just held on Margarita Island (Venezuela). This first course was titled: 1er Curso Introductorio a la Indentificación de Moluscos Opistobranquios, with a participation of 27 students of Marine Biology and 2 (two) students of Oceanography. The course had a duration of two days ( 8 hours theory and 8 hours practice). Here are some pictures of the course. We think this is an initiation of an opistobranch community in Venezuela, so we all can contribute to a better and faster spread of information and create qualified students to pareticipate in later projects.

A second course titled  Curso Introductorio al Estudio de Moluscos Opistobranquios will be from the 26th - 28th of October (2006) and will contain more information about ecology and biology.
