Volvatella angeliniana from New Caledonia

Volvatella angeliniana was described from the Ryukyu Islands in southern Japan. The mantle is translucent white with many large white patches, and the head tentacles [rhinophores] are tipped with orange. There is an orange band around the posterior `spout', and there can be an orange band at the anterior end of the mantle.

Here is a record of a specimen from New Caledonia which lacks the anterior orange band. These are the only 2 records I know of this species.
