Dear Bill,

Following your message #14805: We also found two specimens of Volvatella angeliniana at Heron Island in March, again on Caulerpa racemosa. The pictured animal was 8 mm in size (sorry not a good photo).

Locality: Heron Island, Great Barrier Reef, Queensland, Australia. Intertidal.
Length: 8 mm. 19 March 2005. Photographer: Julie Marshall

Best wishes,
Julie Marshall

Dear Julie,
Thanks for the record. I think I found this species at Heron Island in the 1970s but considered it too small to photograph at that stage. I have been meaning to look through my field notes for a drawing but haven't had time ....
Best wishes,
